How do I register for a course?

After you have decided on a course, click on “Registration and Terms of Payment” on the “Courses” menu, or on the “Registration” link to the right. We will send you an invoice and a letter confirming your registration as quickly as possible. Registration is official only after all course fees have been paid.

There are no registration fees.

Will WiPDaF refund my money if I am unable to attend the course?

If you are unable to attend the course, either out of personal reasons or because you were not able to get a visa, please inform WiPDaF at least a week before courses begin. Only then can we guarantee a full refund of the course fees. If you are not attending because your visa application is denied, be sure to
provide WiPDaF with a copy of the documents stating this.

Does WiPDaF offer reduced prices on courses?

University summer courses are available at a reduced price if a group of three or more is booked.

Are scholarships available?

We are not offering scholarships at this time. However, we are currently working on building a scholarship program. External scholarships are available through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Talk to your university's DAAD adviser for more information about scholarship details.

Does WipDaf arrange my accommodations?

Although we do our best to place participants in student housing, many of the buildings are currently under construction. Because of this, finding enough spaces has become more difficult to organize. Homestays are offered as an alternative.

Where can I take out an insurance policy?

EU participants who are already insured in their country are also covered in Germany. Non-EU participants are advised to take out a private insurance policy. A wide variety of insurance providers offering different packages can be found online. We are happy to assist you in regards to insurance matters. WiPDaF is unable to provide insurance to individuals.
