WiPDaF is a non-profit organization at the Westfälische-Wilhelms Universität (WWU) in Münster. Our goal is to promote and encourage international and interdisciplinary cooperation between academic institutions worldwide by offering courses within the framework of German as a Foreign Language (DaF).

The organization focuses on building international partnerships, as well as offering and supporting academic exchange between researchers, junior researchers and students.

WiPDaF - Courses

Our language courses are aimed at university students and academics who wish to increase both linguistic and intercultural competencies. Teaching units are composed of different modules, in which participants practice a variety of language skills. Language knowledge and skills are improved quickly by employing different learning and work strategies during the lessons.

WiPDaF - Teaching staff

All of our teachers are highly qualified native speakers who hold a university degree, as well as additional certification in teaching DaF. Their creativity, competence, and extensive experience are what set them apart.

WiPDaF - Course materials

Textbooks are only used in the A1/A2 language courses. For all other levels, students use texts and materials put together by teachers that focus on the course's main themes and language structures. Inclass activities are carefully chosen so that students are exposed to authentic and up-to-date materials that are appropriate to each language level.

We believe that a welcoming environment and the use of modern technology in our language classrooms play a significant role in providing a productive learning experience for our participants.
